Psychology Degree Distance Learning

According to the Higher Education Statistics Agency the number of people studying degrees has been increasing steadily, with 2,493,415 students in higher education during the academic year 2009/2010 – more than 20,000 more than five years earlier.

As more people choose to study, there is more demand for university places, leaving more school-leavers without a place on a degree course.

And as a result of this, the Open University has found more school-leavers applying for places on its distance learning courses, according to The Telegraph article on August 19, 2010.
