Hot Lips Flower — We saw these flowers and butterflies after lunch on the way to Tortuguero. The hot lips plant (Psychotria poeppigiana) is also called devil’s ear (= "oreja del diablo"). Indigenous people use it for several medicinal purposes. Like many plants with red flowers, it is pollinated by hummingbirds. It is found throughout the Neotropics.

Question by Rupert: How is it possible to have big lips one day and small lips the next day?
i got a friend and her lips can be small like 2 days in a row.. then after that her lips can look big as hell another day! how is that possible for your lips to big and small?

otherwise it might just be because of makeup
